The hotel is impeccably clean and the building is spotless. It is very close to Ambleside center, Lake Windermere, shops, and the waterfront. The unit has been recently refurbished, with tidy modern decor. The staff are friendly and the location is stunning and particularly good, being very close to everything in Ambleside. It's an easy walk to St Mary's Church and the service is good at all times. A truly amazing stay.

The location was central, right by Merz Barn. The area was fairly quiet near Lake Windermere, the town centre, and the shore of Windermere.- The breakfast had great sandwiches and lovely options, so much to choose from.

The hotel is immaculately clean, with extremely helpful staff. The room is a decent size and brand-new, with free Wi-Fi available. The comfortable bed and well-working bath were great. It's a recently refurbished venue and I would definitely recommend it.

The place was homely and clean, with a particularly good view over the garden. The location is very central, close to the lake where we enjoyed a drink in the sun overlooking the lake. It's not far from Ambleside center and the lakes for a stay, as well as the town center and bus station.

Rothay House is a recently renovated place to stay with a nice view over the garden. The breakfast items are delicious, and the staff is really friendly and amicable. It has a magnificent, incredible location in Ambleside, a short walk to the town, Lake Windermere, and the shops and restaurants of Ambleside.
